Affiliate Disclosure
TulumTrip.ca is a free, independently produced travel guide. Running it costs money, and we cover those costs in two transparent ways.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links to travel booking platforms, which may include hotel search sites (such as Booking.com), tour and activity platforms (such as GetYourGuide and Viator), and travel insurance providers (such as SafetyWing). If you click one of these links and make a purchase or booking, we may earn a commission.
Three things to know about how we handle this:
- It costs you nothing extra. Prices are identical whether you arrive through our link or directly.
- It does not shape recommendations. We routinely tell readers to skip bookable things (tours, transfers, beach clubs) when the do-it-yourself option is better. No business can pay for placement or a favourable mention on this site.
- Affiliate links are marked in code. They carry the rel="sponsored" attribute that search engines and browsers use to identify commercial links.
Advertising
Pages on this site may display advertising served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Advertisers do not choose, review or influence our editorial content, and we do not write content to please them.
What we do not do
- No sponsored posts presented as independent reviews.
- No selling of reader data.
- No pay-for-placement in any list or ranking.
- No recommending products or services we would not use on our own trips.
